On Saturday, October 10, the Federation of Construction Workers and Allied Trades in Greece convened. The aim of the meeting was the preparation to organize a nationwide, pan-labour strike response on November 12 2015 against the attacks of the capital, the government and the EU which are escalating by promoting new anti-labour measures which will add to the already voted ones which literally lead the lives of workers towards a dead end.
Giannis Tasioulas, the President of the Federation, reviewed the developments since the last meeting, mentioning that the Federation had warned the sector about them.
Lastly, the Federation drew a specific action plan for the nationwide strike on November 12, with the protests organised on 22 October in most cities of Greece serving as the starting point.
