Solidarity with workers of the Central African Republic

Solidarity with the workers of the Central African Republic

The Trades Unions International of Workers of the Building, Wood and Building Materials Industries (UITBB), on behalf of the workers and trade unions it represents, expresses its undying solidarity to the workers of the Central African Republic and our member-organisation, ODSTC and its Secretary General, Louis Marie Kogrengbo, for their General Assembly on September 25. We stand with you, comrades, fighting against the government which refuses to apply the agreement signed with the trade unions two years ago, on September 25, 2019.

This is yet another example of the neoliberal policies of governments around the world which are in cohort with the big companies and the employers, always trying to maximise their profits on the expense of the workers. We support all the struggles of the working class against poverty, miserable living conditions and we all fight for a new society without the exploitation of humans by humans.

We call upon the government of the Central African Republic to honour its signature and implement the agreement to its fullest extent.

We stand with the workers of the Central African Republic!

We are together in this fight comrades!

For UITBB
