Meeting between FEVICCOM and FCM CIG Construción e Madeira
On Saturday, April 13th, a delegation from FCM CIG Construction and Wood from Galicia came to the city of Oporto to participate in a bilateral meeting to strengthen the relationship with FEVICCOM – Portuguese Trade Unions Federation of Construction, Ceramics and Glass, of CGTP-IN.
A productive meeting that served to address the situation of cross-border workers, Galician and Portuguese, to project joint work between the two organizations, in order to combat the exploitation of the working class in different sectors, such as construction, wood or quarries.
FEVICCOM thanked FCM CIG Construction and Wood of Galicia for their permanent availability to work with us, and also highlighted all the elements of the strategy and struggle with the common objective of improving the living and working conditions of the Galician, Portuguese and international working class, through our international trade union, UITBB.
