Main points of Chinh Va Ngoc (VNUBW Vietnam) speech at UITBB Executive Committee Meeting
- Since our last Executive Committee meeting, our organization has been active in Vietnam as we had our Congress in June 2018, where we elected a woman for the first time to lead the Building Workers Trade Union
- We participated in the expansion of labor legislation, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, while we were also included in Collective Bargaining
- In terms of OSH we have made progress in the implementation of rules, but we have also made progress in the field of Equality between Men and Women
- We held training events, on the defense of workers interests
- We have successfully held our Asia-Pacific meeting in Hanoi, and we are keen to honor our membership commitments fees with the UITBB
- We believe that solidarity and mutual help are the secrets of our results
