FEVICCOM Portugal – Strike in CIMPOR group companies
From North to South of the country, a three-day STRIKE took place in several companies in the CIMPOR group, one of the main cement companies in our country.
All ovens and cement production in the various companies were stopped.
For decent salary increases and equal rights throughout the CIMPOR group, in a company that has rising profits and should not give low wages – the time has come for workers to make their case and indignation heard!
FEVICCOM and its Trade Unions demand that CIMPOR, which belongs to the Taiwanese multinational TCC, respect and value those who work there, and make a greater distribution of the produced wealth.
We are struggling to improve the living and working conditions in all CIMPOR group companies.
