Country-wide strike in India against anti-labour farm laws
Numerous demonstrations took place across the country on December 8, protesting Prime Minister Modi’s anti-labour laws (Electricity Bill) against the peasants. The massive strike reflects the anger of the people against the barbaric and destructive policies of the Government.
