12 January Strike in Greece
On the 12th of January, trade unions, labour centres and other unions led by PAME, organized a 24-hour strike in Greece, calling upon the SYRIZA-ANEL government to immediately withdraw the bill that will not only limit the right to strike, but it will further asphyxiate the labour struggles.
During the 3 days the bill was being discussed in the Greek Parliament, workers from tens of unions in the public and private sector alike, underlined their opposition to the new anti-labour measures, which limit the right to strike and pave the way for electronically auctioning off the primary residences of the workers.
