The Trades Union International of Workers in the Building, Wood, Building Materials and Allied Industries (UITBB) condemns the devastating Israeli aggression against Lebanon, backed by American and NATO forces. The relentless bombardment of cities, villages, and neighborhoods in Beirut and the Bekaa Valley has caused immense suffering to the heroic people of Lebanon. Thousands of civilians—including many workers and their families—are displaced, homeless, and facing life-threatening conditions.

UITBB has always stood firmly against exploitation, imperialism, and aggression against peoples. The destruction of homes, infrastructure, and communities in Lebanon, strikes directly at the heart of our sectors: workers who build the infrastructure needed, are now seeing their own livelihoods and lives destroyed by war and occupation.
UITBB condemns this imperialist escalation and the role of foreign powers, and reaffirms its undying internationalist solidarity with the Lebanese people and our member organisation, the Union of Wood and Construction in Lebanon.
We demand an immediate stop to all aggression against the country and an immediate withdrawal of occupying forces.

We call on all our affiliated unions around the world to organise solidarity campaigns, protests, issue statements of support, and provide material support for Lebanese workers and their families.
The workers of Lebanon are not alone. Millions stand with you. Your struggle is our struggle, and your fight inspires our fight for a world free from war, exploitation, and injustice.
In militant solidarity,
The Secretariat of UITBB
