General Strike in Portugal – December 11 2025
Feviccom actively participated in the General Strike on December 11 against anti-labour legislation, with massive participation by workers in companies from various sectors.
Workers gave a powerful response to the violent offensive represented by these proposed changes to labor laws, which are in line with employers’ interests and are defended by the government and other right-wing forces.
This great General Strike showed that workers are not resigned, that they reject these changes, and that they are determined in this struggle to defeat all policies that undermine their rights.
