FLEMACON’s 5th Congress in Brazil
The Latin American Federation of Construction, Wood, and Building Materials Workers (FLEMACON) is holding its 5th Congress from September 6 to 9 at the Bahia Mar Hotel in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
The 5th FLEMACON Congress will bring together union leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean, government representatives, experts, and international organizations, with the aim of promoting dialogue on the challenges facing the world of work, strengthening freedom of association, collective bargaining, decent work, and the development of public policies that contribute to development with social justice and the strengthening of democracy.
At the conclusion of the event, the organization’s new leadership will be elected.
