Demonstration in Lisbon against the revision of labour laws

Demonstration in Lisbon against the revision of labour laws

On November 8, 2025, thousands of workers from all over the country participated in a demonstration in Lisbon to fight against the proposed revision of labor law, which the government and employers want to implement in Portugal, which in essence is another generalized attack on workers’ rights.

Feviccom participated in this day of struggle where we affirm that we do not accept labor and social setbacks that further weaken the already unbalanced labor relations and we will do everything to defeat this attempt to increase the exploitation of those who work and create wealth.

So, to respond to this enormous attack on rights and to pave the way for a different direction for the country, we assume the elevation and expansion of the organized struggle, with the mobilization and adherence to the General Strike – Against the Labor Package! No to regression and exploitation. For higher wages, more rights, more public services, which we will carry out on December 11, 2025.

We will move forward with all determination, reinforcing unity in action, to defeat this proposed revision of labor law and to value the work and workers of Feviccom.
