The Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon was full and it proved to be too small for the CGTP-IN great demonstration for the valorization of work and the workers. There needs to be a more consistent replacement of incomes and rights as well as an implementation of measures that break with decades of right-wing policy.
If the reinstatement of rights and wages is elementary justice and contributes to economic growth, then it is necessary to continue and broaden this path, demanding a greater increase in wages. We will broaden and intensify the action and the struggle of demands in workplaces, companies and services, because the fight is worth it, as life proves every day. Let us take into our hands our future, with the strength of the workers, mobilized within their class organization, with the confidence that history teaches us, and the determination given by the correctness of our objectives, united, enlightened and mobilized – Let’s fight! FEVICCOM was once again present!
